ICA Zambia conducts various rural development projects such as sustainable
agriculture development and income generation. Two agriculturist were
sent as trainees to Kenya to learn integrated rural development approaches
so that they can implement projects more effectively.

A Village in Machakos District
|
|

Model Development Project (SOFEM) is carried out near this village by JICA
, Kenya Forestry Research Institute and Ministry of Forest of Kenya. |

SOFEM
|

ICA Mariakani
|

up health care activities for women. It takes about 2 hours from ICA office
to the village by car. |

In the examinations, physical checkups for women were provoded, and many
women participated to be examined. |

the same day. A cultural exchange party was held between villagers and tour
