Overview:

The Kitui Integrated Development Programme (KIRDP) was a large-scale project jointly conducted in Kenya by ICA and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This collaboration of an NGO and a major funding body led to a high level of shared knowledge and results. Year 3 (concluding in early 2004) marked the completion of its three-years and demonstrated the extent to which human development thrives through a participatory and inclusive approach.

This report gives you pictures and details about the progress and transformation during this final year of KIRDP. We hope this thematic project tour will give you pause for thought about the issues these local people face. And we would heartily welcome you as a member of ICA.
