Accurate knowledge on primary health care needs to be disseminated in rural areas. This is because HIV and other epidemics are increasing due to an expansion of an unsanitary environment, mainly generated by population increase. We promote health care for rural people so that they may live longer, healthier lives despite the proliferation of unhygienic conditions.

Efforts in advancing health care during Year 3 of KIRDP focused on follow up. ICA organized follow up training and seminars at markets, churches, and schools in the 30 villages in the Maliku and Itoleka locations, reaching a total of 640 people. We also collaborated with the Ministry of Health to further enhance the quality of training. Participants' questions and interests showed a clarity and vision susbstantially different from at the outset of the programme.
