1. Mr. Borjas, the agricultural specialist wearing a red shirt standing in the middle of the field, is explaining to the villagers how to build a nursery to grow young seedlings. Apart from growing fruit trees like peach trees, the field will also be used to re-grow trees for replanting in the surrounding forest.


2. The construction of the nursery begins.


3. The nursery is located in the area indicated by the red rectangle, about 500 meters lower from the village. The road leading to the nursery is located on a very steep slope. There is a constant danger of slipping and falling off the cliff when trekking to the nursery.




4. More than 400 peach tree seedlings were grown from the completed nursery. These seedlings are improved species from those previously grown by the villagers.
