1. This project involves attaching
the solar panels to the roof of the primary school.
The energy provided by the solar panels will be
useful for employing audio-visual aids for teaching.
In this picture, Mr. Torres, the engineer (wearing
a yellow beanie) and Mr. Alfaro, the coordinator,
are assembling the solar panels with the villagers.
2. The assembled solar panel bought
for the school. After charging for 4 hours, the
solar panel will be able to provide sufficient
electricity for 3 lights, a television and radio.
3. Wiring the inverter to
convert the energy from the solar panel into
voltage for use.
4. Installing the supporting
pole for the solar panel with the help of the
school teacher.
5. Mr. Alfaro, the coordinator giving
a lecture on how to use the energy generated by
a solar panel.
6. Teachers and villagers attending
the lecture.
7. Explaining the wiring of the
inverter. On the right, behind the villagers are
donations of color television and DVD/VCR.
8. Everybody watching a video on
the television from the energy generated by the
solar panels.
