1. The "Strategic Planning"
workshop was held on 5-7 June 2004. About 40
people from Cochamarca Village participated
in the workshop. The man in the blue shirt on
the bottom right hand corner is the village
headman Mr. Carrera.

their views on the development of the village`s

At the end of the workshop, the participants put
together their own strategic plan for the village,
learnt how to build a bio-digester and its operation,
how to construct and maintain a nursery, how to
change the domestic livestock (from guinea pig)
and how to make compost.
