Public Lavatory Renovation

There was an unfinished public lavatory in Cochamarca. It was left unfinished due to the lack of the fund. Untreated water was drained into irrigation canal. We decided to provide separate sewage and reservoir tank.

We utilized an abandoned pit for the tank. There was no door to hide each room inside. They were using corrugated tinplate as blinds.

We put the doors came from the low land to this village of 3,400m altitude. Not only Jorge and Fito, but also Ivan, who takes care of accounting of this project, helped the work. They repair various things. Our pickup is 20 years old, but they treat almost any trouble.

Reservoir is finished. The irrigation canal leads to the lowland, and the people living upstream has to consider the quality of water.
