青少年に対するエイズ予防および保健衛生活動

普段は静かな町だが、毎週火曜日には青空 市が立ち、多くの人でにぎわいを見せる。

Center of Brobo.

Brobo is a littre town, but many people came here every Tuesday for the weekly marcket.

4. オフィスの中には会議室や運営室があり、また、資料なども豊富にある。

Inside of the office, there are many resources in addition to the meeting and administration rooms.

5. 2000年度国際ボランティア貯金の支援を受けて建てられたエイズ予防センター。

This is the AIDS Prevention Center built by financial support of Postal Services Agency in Japan in 2002.

6. センター内の壁には啓蒙用ポスターが貼られており、訪れた人たちの目を惹く。写真左は健全な性行為 のためのコンドーム使用を、右は異性との健全な付き合いを訴えている。

Inside of the Center, visitors can learn about sexual relationships should be restricted to serious partnerships from these AIDS posters promoting the usage of Condoms for safe sex.

7. エイズ予防センターは、リーダーシップトレーニングや、エイズ啓発セミナーを行 うのに格好の場所である。

The AIDS Prevention Center is a great place for Leadership Training as well as for AIDS Awareness and Prevention Seminars.

8. 2002年6月、電気がなかったセンターにソーラーエネルギー設備が設置された。

The Solar energy system was installed at the AIDS Centre in June 2002. By then, we hadnﾕt had electricity here.

9. 屋根に設置したソーラーエネルギーパネル、SM75(75W/ 12V, 120cm x 52.7cm) を3枚使用。

10. ソーラーエネルギー導入により、ビデオ教材を使った啓蒙活動もいつでも行うことができるようになった。

The installation of solar system makes us to organize the audiovisual seminor. The video deck and TV are essential tools to convey the training to the people.

エイズ検査に使用した『ダイナスクリーン』 は血液をたらしてから15分で結果が得られる。

Thanks to the cooperation of the doctor in Brobo hospital and the villagers, we could carry out the AIDS check tests.

12. 村に置き薬を寄付。マラリヤや下痢など疾病が多くても薬を容易に買うことができない 村人の強い希望でもあった。薬を受け取った村長は日頃のICAの活動も含め、強い感謝の意 を示していた。

ICA contributed the medecine cabinet to the villages in compliance with wish of the villagers. Because they couldnﾕt buy the medecine themselves even if they caught any sick.

13. 子供たちへの衛生教育を目的として5つの小学校に公衆ト イレ建設、寄付。各学校では新学期から先生方を中心にトイ レ教育が始まる。

ICA constructed the public toilet at 5 primary schools in village, with the aim of the education of the public hygiene. The teachers will start the toilet education from the next new term.

14. 今年の活動計画とヘルスアシスタントの仕事の調整の為、バイアクロ村へ視察に行った。村のリーダー達は、ICAの 活動について大変理解してくれた。

An initial visit to M`Bahiakro village to arrange the work of the Community Health Assistants and the activities planned for this years activities. The village leaders were eager to begin ICAﾕs activities, and had advance our knowledge.

15. ICAトレーナー、リュシー・クリマンがエイズに関する講議をしている様子。参加者たちも気楽に質問や意見を投げ かけている。

One of ICAﾕs trainers, Lucie KILMAN, is having the class about AIDS to new Health Agents(ASC) of MﾕBahiakro. The participants put any questions or opinions to the trainer comfortably.

研修中地域保健指導員(ASC)は説明に聞き入 り、真剣にノートを取る。彼らの理解度は講議の後に行われる小テストで確認される。

The Health agent (ASC) is a villager who works for the education of villagers about the reproductive health and preventive health. ICA train and help them for their good activities.

17. ICAコートジボアールの理事長であるコフィ氏が、地域保健指導員(ASC)修了証を手 渡している。

The Chairman of the Board of ICA Cote dﾕIvoire, Ms. Koffi, hands a certificate of recognition to one of the trainers.

18. 修了証授与の後、ICAスタッフと地域保健指導員(ASC)が集まり、記念写真を一枚。

地域保健指導員(ASC)が啓蒙セミナーを開 催。ICA-CIのマルセルはサポート役として参加。現地語も交えてエイズ問題の深刻さを訴 えるマルセル。参加者は熱心に聞きいっている。

Health Agents(ASC) are doing the seminor about AIDS with the presence of ICA trainer, Marcelle. She explaines about the serious AIDS problem in French and also in local language. People listen her speach eagerly.

20. 参加者の一人がコンドームの使い方のデモンストレーションを行う。同時にマルセル がコンドームを配付。

One of participants demonstrates how to use the comdom. Marcelle distributes the condoms to the audience.

21. ICAトレーナー、マルセルがブンダ村でのエイズ啓蒙活動を行った。写真は終了後に 参加した村人にコンドームを配っている様子。村長も参加してくれていることは注目に 値する（写真中央）。

After the enlightenment for the youth at Bounda, Marcelle distributes the condoms to people.

22. 地域保健指導員(ASC)の村での活動評価のために、ICAは3ヶ月毎に評価会議を実施 している。これは彼らの問題点を話し合ったり、意見交換を行う機会ともなっている。

The evaluation meeting of the ASCs is held each three month. At this meeting, agents report about their activities, talk about each problems and exchange opinions.

23.　これらはビデオテープ、エイズ予防と 保健衛生に関する本、その他啓蒙活動をより効果的に行うための教材である。写真の中に見 えるゲームも重要な教材であり、若者がそれを通じて他の人と交流 を深めると同時にエイズ予防を学んでもらう目的で使用される。

These are the supplies purchased to use in the Center and by the Community Health Assistants. They include videos, books on heath care and AIDS promotion, and various other items. The games are used to provide a relaxed atmosphere in the center so that youth can learn about AIDS Prevention while enjoying socializing.

24. シナヴェッスーの地域保健指導員(ASC)のひとりが手にしている のは、ICAが啓蒙活動推進のため作成したエイズ啓蒙および性教育 のためのポスターと小冊子。

What ASC is holding are the poster and the manual about AIDS and Reproductive Health, which have been drawn out by ICA for our activities.

25. 毎週火曜日に開かれるブロボの青空市場には周辺の村から多くの人が集まってくる。

Many people come to the Tuesdayﾕs market of Brobo from surround villages.

26. 人が大く集まる市場で、エイズ予防を呼びかけるスピーチを行った後、コンドームを 配るマルセルにたくさんの人たちが群がる。

Many people are crowding around Marcell who distributes the condom after the speech about AIDS prevention.

27. エイズ啓蒙の歌やビデオ上映をするためにTVやビデオ、ラジカセなども準備する。 特にビデオ上映には多くの人が集まってくる。

ICA arranges for TV, Video and cassette for the enlightenment. Video projection attracts the public.

Enlightenment for the informal secter

刃物を取り扱う職業従事者を対象に、エイズ感染の危険と予防法について理解してもらう目的 で、ICAトレーナーは彼らの仕事場を直接訪ねる啓蒙活動を行った。

ICA trainers visit shops where they use cutlery(barbers,tailors)and talk about AIDS to make the workers understand the risk of the infection and prevention method of AIDS.

28. バイク整備技師らとHIV予防法について話し合うマルセル。工具や機械を使用する仕事にもエイズ感染の危険性があ ること、そしてどのように器具を扱うべきかについて説明している。

Marcelle discusses with bike repairers about AIDS prevention, the risk of the infection for their job and the preventioon method of AIDS.

29. 裁縫店での啓蒙活動。針やハサミによるエイズ感染の危険性と、感染予防のための機器の取り扱い方について説明 を行う。写真は最後にマルセルがコンドームを配っている様子。

30. ICA文化事業協会の理事長佐藤静代氏と副理事長ウェイン・エルズワ−ス氏が、地元 の慣習やエイズ予防キャンペーン強化の為、ICAと教会の協力関係について地元の牧師と 話し合っている。

ICA Japan Directors, Shizuyo Sato and Wayne Ellsworth, dialogue with the local clergymen about social customs and the partnership bettween ICA Brobo and the churches to strengthen the impact of the AIDS prevention campain.

In spite of the rain, many people gathered at the ICA office for the video projection.The members of "STOP AIDS CLUB", youth group of Brobo, came too.

Marcelle asks some questions to the students as the enlightenment at school and the condom is given to the students who answer correctly.

ICA代表、フォースティン氏によるエイズ問題の深刻さ、当コン クールの意義などを訴えるスピーチによって開会した。

On July 18th, 2001, an AIDS competition by Jr.High students was held in Brobo. Mr.Faustin, represent of ICA, gave a speech about the seriousness of AIDS problem as the opening address.

39. コンクールには若者を中心にブロボ中から多くの人が集まっ た。

A crowd of people, especialy young people, come to this competition.

40. 職業訓練センターチームの生徒がエイズという今世紀最大の病 気に対する悲しみをうたった詩を全身で朗読している。

A student of the training center is expressing the sadness AIDS by reading a poem.

コンクールではブロボの中学校、職業訓練センター、ブアケ中学校の3チームが参加し、それぞれ練習をつんだ芝居、 詩の朗読、クイズで競い合った。いずれもエイズをテーマとしている。

At this competition, 3 groups of students play participate; a group of the training center, group of Bouake Jr.high school and group of Brobo Jr. high school. They present a poem and answer the questions, all about AIDS.

41. ブアケ中学校のチームはエイズが発症した男性とその家族の大変さを芝居のテー マとしてとりあげた。

The group of Bouake Jr. high school plays about the difficulty of the person with AIDS infected person and his family.

42. 太鼓のリズムにのってエイズの歌を歌うブロボ中学校のチーム。

43. みごと総合優勝を勝ち取り、トロフィーを受け取る職業訓練センターチー ム。

44. アビジャンからNIANMIEN氏を講師として迎え、6月13日〜15日の3日間に渡って 行われた。ブロボの小学校を会場として使用。小中学校の校長、先生が集まった。

45. セミナーに参加した先生たちはみなとても熱心で、活発に質問や意見がとびか う。

The participants are very eager in this seminar and they give many questions to the speeker.

46. 3日間のセミナーを終え、参加者全員で記念写真。学校に貼ってもらおうと、ICA はポスターを配付した。

ブアケの大学生による”ライオンズ・ク ラブ”がエイズ啓蒙活動の一貫としてブアケの中学校にやってきた。ICA-CIも協 力を求められ、活動に協力。

50. 大豆を使った離乳食の調理法をデモンストレーション。（アビタ地区にて）

After a lecture on soybeans, a demonstration of how to make dishe of soybean as feed was given. (at Habitat District in Brobo)

彼女は村巡回の際に、村の女性たちに妊 婦検診と病院での出産の重要性を説いている。

Beatrice, ICA trainer, help the consultation of pregnancy on tuesday. She recommend women to go to the hospital when the ICA trainer round the villages.

毎週月曜に行われる子供の予防接種。こ の日には50km離れた村からも多くの母子が集まってくる。ICAのトレーナーも 母親たちの受け入れを毎週手伝っている。

Monday is the Childrenﾕs vaccination day. The hospital Brobo is crowded with a lot of mothers who come here even from a village a long way off.
